Understanding Dependent Personality Disorder

When you can't make decisions without others — breaking the pattern.

What Is DPD?

Dependent Personality Disorder involves an excessive need to be taken care of, leading to submissive and clinging behaviour and fears of separation.

It goes beyond normal attachment — people with DPD feel unable to function without others making decisions for them.
